Now you can prepare quotes for your customers that have the same professional look as your other QuickBooks Online sales forms. Once you perform the work, it's easy to move the estimated charges onto an invoice for billing.

Flow smoothly from estimates to invoices

Create an estimate when you want to give your customer a quote, bid, or proposal for work you plan to do. The estimate form looks very much like an invoice, but its purpose is to help you begin negotiations with your customer. Once the work is done and you're ready to bill your customer, you can easily add data from the estimate onto an invoice without having to retype information.
